The Walters Art Museum is located at 600 N. Charles St. in Baltimore's historic Mount Vernon Cultural District, about one mile north of the Inner Harbor and downtown business district.
The main entrance is located on Centre Street near the corner of Centre and Cathedral Streets. Visitors may also access the museum via the Charles Street entrance. For visitors with limited mobility, please enter through our Centre Street entrance.

A parking lot is conveniently located across the street from the museum at Centre and Cathedral Streets. The parking lot is staffed by an attendant from LAZ Parking. Museum members are eligible for reduced rates and should stop by the Visitor Services Desk to get parking tickets validated.
There are several other lots close to the museum and metered street parking is available.
There are several ways to reach the Walters using public transit. The museum is conveniently located near the free Charm City Circulator (Purple line), MTA bus lines (Silver, Green, Yellow, Pink, Purple, 95, 51, 103), and the Centre Street light rail stop.
The Charm City Circulator is a free bus service in Baltimore. The Walters is located along the Purple line at stop number 307.
